Travis Give Apollo XI A Big Win Over T Bros Superstars

Winning the toss and deciding to bat was a pretty good choice made by the T Bros Superstars and by the 13th over with the loss of 4 wickets and 78 runs the game could’ve gone in favor of either team. Loosing Ako with an injury to his finger early in the game and he had to, leave the field. He was rushed to the hospital for medical attention. With this loss Apollo knows things could get very bumpy.
But coming in the second half all hell broke loose. It was boundaries after boundaries and at the end of the 25 overs the Superstars scored a super 191 for the loss of 9 wickets.
Then it was time for the Apollo XI the Gentleman's cricket club to face the Superstars. And with a very impressive start after three overs the score was 29 for the loss of one wicket. Omesh was gone for 20 and 5 more wickets fell by the end of the 13 overs with the score on 81 runs. Things were very cloudy for the Apollo boys knowing they need 111 runs in 12 overs it is do or die.
But coming back in the second half it was not only hell that broke loose it was judgment day! And the judgment was given down by 1 of the best I had ever seen for a long time, and with boundaries forward, backward, left, right and center it was all little Travis on the attack.
He top score again for the second week straight with 84 runs not out which consist of six 6's and seven 4's. He received good support from Bhawan 17 which includes 3 boundaries and Rogie score 7. Apollo was unstoppable reaching 195 with one wicket and 2 over to spare.
On the behalf of all the members and our families of the Apollo XI cricket club we would like to wish Travis a Happy 16th birthday and all the best in the future. May the Good Lord shower him with his Golden Blessings?
Cecil Hat Trick Seal Semi Final for Apollo XI

After winning the toss, Invaders decided to bat, probably with the intention to put up a score and then defend it. But Apollo XI has their own intention as well, which is to put the big squeeze on and from the very first over, which was a maiden, from skipper Navin, on the first ball off the second over Trini stumps went flying. Then came a run out coming from a classic throw in all the way from the boundary by V.J. shattering the stumps then a magnificent catch by VJ off the bowling from Hodge which gave Hodge a hat trick. Then Manoj almost took a catch, the big squeeze was definitely on. But it was all over in 19.2 overs when strong arm Ako whipped in a throw from the boundary to the keeper for a gracious run out leaving the Invaders with a score of 96.
Now it was time for Apollo XI boys to do their stuff! As I said Invaders put up a score and it is time for them to defend it, and that is exactly what they were doing. Having taken 5 wickets in 5 overs for 25 runs it was all smiles for Invaders, but then came experienced batting versus tough bowling. And with a partnership of 49 runs coming from Johnny and Manoj, Apollo XI was back on track. Invaders then felt some relief after getting the wicket of Johnny then Manoj for 36. But then came the surprise. Our little maestro Bryan. Knowing he was in some kind of slump the past few games he went in with a vengeance smashing a couple back to back boundary, it came down to the last over and Apollo XI needed 3 runs. And on the third delivery he did one of his signature shots cover drive for 4.
Once again in a situation where it seems there was no hope Apollo XI came out victorious.
