Crown XI Defeated Unpredictable To Take Division IIC Championship

Last Sunday Crown XI played Unpredictable in the final in the New York Softball Cricket League 25 Over Championship competition -Division IIC at Springfield Park. Unpredictable won the toss and decided to bat first making 127 all out in 23.4 overs. Best batting for Unpredictable was done by Alvin Bharat who scored 26 runs, N Daniram 16 runs and Clement Sookram 15 runs.
Bowling for Crown XI was Shaheed Behari 5 overs 2 wicket for16 runs Shafeek Alli Raymond Williams and Bharat Singh take two wickets each. Crown XI reply with 135 runs for 5 wickets in 23.4 overs. Rafeek Alli with 26 runs M. Ramutar 21 runs Sonna Harrichand 16 runs not out and Bharat Singh 20 runs.
Bowling Unpredictable Alvin Bharat took 2 wickets, N. Daniram, N. Persaud, and Khemraj 1wicket each. Thanks to all the members of Crown XI cricket club for their hard work and dedication and also their sportsmanship.
Williams and Ramautar 93 runs Partnership Put Crown XI in Finals

Legends won the toss and decided to bat first was pretty good choice made by Legends. And by half time break legends were 71 runs for the loss of 7 wickets. But coming into the second half it was boundaries after boundaries as Legends pile on the runs. And at the ends of the 22nd over Legends score 147 runs all out.
Bowling for Crown XI Safeek Alli had 5 over 4 wickets and Raymond Williams 2.4 over 3 wickets. Batting for Legends D. Jagnarine score 25 runs, M. Pashram 31 runs and K. Narinesammy 18 runs. Crown XI chasing 147 runs for victory achieved the feat very comfortably in 22 overs.
Whilst losing 8 wickets in the process, once again Crown XI got a great boost by their experience and reliable opener Raymond Williams who made 59 runs. And contributing with the bat also was M. Ramautor 35 runs, Shaheed Behari and Safeek Alli was left not out to win the game and put Crown XI into final.
Raymond Williams Blast 43 Not out Versus Royal Challengers B

Royal Challengers B won the toss and decided to bat first, was a pretty good choice made by Royal Challengers B. And by the 13th over the score were 43 runs for the loss of 2 wickets.
The game could've gone in favor either team. But coming in the second half Royal Challengers B knew that there had to put runs on the board. At the 21 over there were all out for 93 runs.
Batting for Royal Challengers B is J. Sukhu 18, J. Misir 14 runs and R. Paul 13 runs. Main bowler for Crown XI was Bharat Singh 4 overs 5 wickets for 23 runs S. Alli 5 over 2 wicket 20 runs, S. Behari and Raymond Williams’s one wicket each. Crown XI chasing 93 runs for victory achieved the feat very comfortably in 10 over whilst losing 4 wickets in the process.
Opener Raymond Williams who made 43 not out and contributing with the bat also was Satrohan Persaud 28 runs from 6 balls and B. Singh with 12 runs.
