At a packed Fairfield Pavilion, Renegade Cricket Club held its Annual Awards Dinner and it was another very successful event as players, their family, and well-wishers came out to show their support. The evening began with a dance performance by little Kayla. And as if Kayla was not enough the next dancer took it to another level, her dancing turned the tempo up and had almost everyone involved as she gyrated to sweet classic music.

Renegade Captain Dan Morgan took the 2014 season Most Valuable Player prize. Morgan took his team to the playoffs two times in the 2014 season, and reached the final in the NYSCL President Cup. He scored a total of 263 runs and grabbed 29 wickets. Morgan had a very dominating season showing good leadership and always getting runs and wickets to keep his team in contention.

Johnny Sookraj took home the prize for the most wickets with 31, Sunil Khelawan scored 372 runs and was rewarded with the batting prize. Chabilall Ramdhani was the most outstanding player in the 2014 season, scoring two centuries, against Essequibo and New York All-Stars, in both innings he was not out on 102.

The Renegade Cricket Club, one of the more organized club in the New York Softball Cricket League, has done very well, both on the field and off.
